Canvas as Complement
Use tools in Canvas to enhance your face-to-face classroom
Add a little Canvas
This pathway adds Canvas elements to a traditional classroom. Assignments, quizzes and discussions are just a few pieces that can complement a traditional class. It can give students more flexibility to complete some assignments (watch a video at home) or for the professor to create quizzes in Canvas that can be automatically graded.
Use your CBU email address and password, if you are prompted to log into Canvas to see examples.

Complement the classroom in Canvas
If you want to use more elements in Canvas, it will require learning more tools. But once you develop these elements, they can be imported to new shells for many semester to come. Click here to learn how to use Canvas as a complement to your face-to-face course
