Using an online proctoring service isn't for every class, but it might be right for yours! If you do decide to use a proctoring service, you must give yourself and your students time to become familiar with the process and to make sure they have the right equipment to use Respondus.

CDI recommends the following to provide the most positive experience possible for you and your students:

• Faculty familiarize themselves with Respondus before the semester begins.

• Students are notified about technical requirements for Respondus at the beginning of the semester.

• Students are given a practice test using Respondus near the beginning of the semester.
